Stranger Things, The Crown, and The White Lotus Lead the Pack
Shōgun Takes Home 25 Nominations
The nominees for the 76th Emmy Awards have been announced, and it's a big day for Netflix. The streaming giant leads all networks with a whopping 140 nominations, followed by HBO with 107 and Disney+ with 102. Among the most-nominated shows are Stranger Things, The Crown, and The White Lotus, which each received 20 nominations. Shōgun, a new historical drama from Apple TV+, also had a strong showing with 25 nominations.In the acting categories, Zendaya (Euphoria), Jason Bateman (Ozark), and Julia Garner (Inventing Anna) are among the favorites to win. Other notable nominees include Jennifer Aniston (The Morning Show), Steve Carell (The Patient), and Martin Freeman (Breeders).
The 76th Emmy Awards will be held on September 17, 2024, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The ceremony will be hosted by Kenan Thompson.
