CNN has announced that Jake Tapper will lead its upcoming streaming service, CNN+, as its chief anchor and lead correspondent.
CNN+ is set to launch in the second quarter of 2022 and will offer a variety of live, on-demand, and original programming.
Tapper will host a new daily show on the platform, in addition to continuing his current role as host of "The Lead with Jake Tapper" on CNN.

CNN+ will be available on a variety of devices, including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, and mobile devices.
The service will cost $5.99 per month or $59.99 per year.
CNN is hoping that CNN+ will help it compete with other streaming services, such as Netflix, Disney+, and HBO Max.
